Information collected
Flat & True Men's Grooming Studio collects: first and last names (if provided), email, phone number, service selections, appointment timing, referral source, promo codes, address and access notes for mobile visits, optional photos of groomed areas, appointment notes, and pre-appointment form responses including typed signatures. When forms are signed, the system records date, time, IP address, and browser information as signature verification.
Payment card details are never retained by Flat & True Men's Grooming Studio; Square processes all card transactions, with only the transaction amount, final four digits, and success status shared with the business.
Data usage
Your information serves exclusively to: schedule, confirm, send reminders about, execute, and follow up on appointments; communicate via email; send opted-in text notifications; respond to inquiries; and maintain your service history for consistent future visits. Your data is not repurposed for any other objective.
SMS terms
If you elect text notifications, you authorize use of your mobile number for appointment communications, including confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notices, cancellations, deposit links, and pre-appointment forms — up to five messages per booking. The date and time of your opt-in consent is recorded. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for assistance; standard carrier rates apply. Text-only line: 469-516-9264. SMS opt-in data is never shared with third parties, except the phone carrier as required to deliver the messages.
Service providers
Your data resides on company-owned servers. Third-party vendors are limited to: phone service for texts, an email server for messages, calendar software, and Square for payments, scheduling and the client book. Vendors process data solely for service delivery and cannot use it independently. No selling, renting, or trading of your information occurs — ever.
Retention & deletion
Records persist while you are an active client. To request deletion, contact the studio; records that are legally required to be kept are retained, and everything else is removed.
Your rights
For access, correction, or deletion requests: text 469-516-9264 from your registered phone number, or email the studio using the address on your booking confirmation.
Photo policy
Photos are always optional. You may upload up to three images of the areas to be groomed via a private link after booking. Images stay on company servers exclusively — never emailed, shared, or publicized — visible only to your groomer, with metadata stripped automatically. Photos are deleted after the appointment is completed, or immediately upon cancellation; you may also remove them yourself at any time.
Age restriction
Body grooming services are limited to individuals 18+. Flat & True Men's Grooming Studio does not intentionally collect information from minors.
